Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLAMF7 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLAMF7 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher SLAMF7 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLAMF7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BRCA, SCLC, and LAML are the cancer types where SLAMF7 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
