Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLAIN1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SLAIN1 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 3 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher SLAIN1 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLAIN1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and UCEC show a favorable association.

BRCA, UCEC, and HNSC are the cancer types where SLAIN1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
