Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLA Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLA data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher SLA Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLA expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and COAD show a favorable association.
UCEC, DLBC, and LUSC are the cancer types where SLA Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
