Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SKIV2L RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SKIV2L data layer compared with 6 for mutation status and 3 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher SKIV2L RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SKIV2L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as THYM and READ show a favorable association.

COAD, KIRC, and UVM are the cancer types where SKIV2L RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
