Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SKAP2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SKAP2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in brain lower grade glioma (LGG), where higher SKAP2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SKAP2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LGG are the cancer types where SKAP2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
