Across TCGA patient cohorts, SIX5 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 606 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible SIX5-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNU6-1156P, RNU6-552P, and MIR5583-1. Each is linked with SIX5 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SIX5-to-partner and partner-to-SIX5 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, RNU6-1156P grouped by SIX5-low versus SIX5-high in BLCA.
