Across TCGA patient cohorts, SIT1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 8,627 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SIT1-associated genes across cancer lineages are CHRDL1, CD5, and NONO. Each is linked with SIT1 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SIT1-to-partner and partner-to-SIT1 results are reported.
