Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SIRT7 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SIRT7 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher SIRT7 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SIRT7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SKCM, HNSC, and COAD are the cancer types where SIRT7 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
