Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SIRT3 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SIRT3 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher SIRT3 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SIRT3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UVM and KIRP show a favorable association.

UVM, KIRP, and KIRC are the cancer types where SIRT3 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
