Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SIK1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SIK1 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher SIK1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SIK1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and UCS show a favorable association.
LUSC, COAD, and UCS are the cancer types where SIK1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
