Across TCGA cell cohorts, SHROOM2 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,660 significant associations in total. SKIN shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SHROOM2-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Pigment metabolic process involved in pigmentation, Release of sequestered calcium ion into cytosol, and Epithelial cell-cell adhesion. Each is linked with SHROOM2 in more than 10 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SHROOM2-to-partner and partner-to-SHROOM2 results are reported.
