Across TCGA patient cohorts, SHROOM1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 9,151 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SHROOM1-associated genes across cancer lineages are SBK1, MITF, and PLAT. Each is linked with SHROOM1 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SHROOM1-to-partner and partner-to-SHROOM1 results are reported.
