SHMT1

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, SHMT1 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,499 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SHMT1-associated genes across cancer lineages are OR4A45P, RPSAP68, and TRAJ18. Each is linked with SHMT1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SHMT1-to-partner and partner-to-SHMT1 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, OR4A45P grouped by SHMT1-low versus SHMT1-high in LGG.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (SHMT1→partner) and Y-score (partner→SHMT1) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
