Across TCGA cell cohorts, SHMT1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 4,370 significant associations in total. BLOOD_Leukemia shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SHMT1-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Glycine biosynthetic process, DTMP biosynthetic process, and Pyrimidine deoxyribonucleoside monophosphate biosynthetic process. Each is linked with SHMT1 in more than 19 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SHMT1-to-partner and partner-to-SHMT1 results are reported.
