Across TCGA patient cohorts, SHISAL2A mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 412 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SHISAL2A-associated genes across cancer lineages are MTATP6P7, MMS19, and ATP5MC1. Each is linked with SHISAL2A in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SHISAL2A-to-partner and partner-to-SHISAL2A results are reported.
