Across TCGA cell cohorts, SHISAL1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,190 significant associations in total. SKIN shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SHISAL1-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Positive regulation of cytoskeleton organization, Regulation of cell-substrate junction assembly, and Collagen metabolic process. Each is linked with SHISAL1 in more than 10 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SHISAL1-to-partner and partner-to-SHISAL1 results are reported.
