Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SHISA9 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SHISA9 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher SHISA9 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SHISA9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ESCA and COAD are the cancer types where SHISA9 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
