Across TCGA patient cohorts, SHH protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 718 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SHH-associated genes across cancer lineages are RPS17P1, PLEKHA4, and ICAM2. Each is linked with SHH in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SHH-to-partner and partner-to-SHH results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, SHH versus RPS17P1 in LSCC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.53.
