Across TCGA patient cohorts, SHH mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 33 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SHH-associated genes across cancer lineages are ATM, JNK_pT183_Y185, and mTOR_pS2448. Each is linked with SHH in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SHH-to-partner and partner-to-SHH results are reported.
