Across TCGA cell cohorts, SHH RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 2,360 significant associations in total. STOMACH shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SHH-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Negative regulation of dopaminergic neuron differentiation, Kidney mesenchymal cell proliferation, and Metanephric mesenchymal cell proliferation involved in metanephros development. Each is linked with SHH in more than 10 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SHH-to-partner and partner-to-SHH results are reported.
