Across TCGA patient cohorts, SHE mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 15 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SHE-associated genes across cancer lineages are ASNS, ATM, and 4E-BP1. Each is linked with SHE in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SHE-to-partner and partner-to-SHE results are reported.
