SHBG

RNA expression — cross-omics
Cross-omicsRNA → FUNCTION-RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, SHBG RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 7,105 significant associations in total. TGCT shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SHBG-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Monocarboxylic acid catabolic process, Mitochondrial proton-transporting ATP synthase complex assembly, and L-serine metabolic process. Each is linked with SHBG in more than 19 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SHBG-to-partner and partner-to-SHBG results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, Monocarboxylic acid catabolic process grouped by SHBG-low versus SHBG-high in CHOL.

RNA expression associated GO terms by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (SHBG→partner) and Y-score (partner→SHBG) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
