Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, SHBG protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 12,199 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible SHBG-associated genes across cancer lineages are MEDAG, C7, and MMP19. Each is linked with SHBG in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SHBG-to-partner and partner-to-SHBG results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, SHBG versus MEDAG in COAD, with a Pearson correlation of 0.42.
protein abundance associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (SHBG→partner) and Y-score (partner→SHBG) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
