Across TCGA patient cohorts, SHBG mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 15 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SHBG-associated genes across cancer lineages are ERK2, EGFR_pY1068, and ETS-1. Each is linked with SHBG in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SHBG-to-partner and partner-to-SHBG results are reported.
