Across TCGA cell cohorts, SHANK3 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 4,616 significant associations in total. SOFT_TISSUE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SHANK3-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Regulation of cytoplasmic pattern recognition receptor signaling pathway, Regulation of protein localization to centrosome, and Heterochromatin formation. Each is linked with SHANK3 in more than 12 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SHANK3-to-partner and partner-to-SHANK3 results are reported.
