Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SH3YL1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SH3YL1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher SH3YL1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SH3YL1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD, LUSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where SH3YL1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
