Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SH3RF3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SH3RF3 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher SH3RF3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SH3RF3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LIHC show a favorable association.
LUSC, LUAD, and LIHC are the cancer types where SH3RF3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
