SH3RF3

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SH3RF3 mass-spec protein differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 2 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of SH3RF3’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where SH3RF3 mass-spec protein is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types SH3RF3 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as LUAD and LSCC show the opposite, repressed pattern.

LUAD and LSCC are the cancer types where SH3RF3 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
