Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SH3PXD2B RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SH3PXD2B data layer compared with 4 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher SH3PXD2B RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SH3PXD2B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA and COAD show a favorable association.
MESO, UVM, and BLCA are the cancer types where SH3PXD2B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
