Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SH3GL3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SH3GL3 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher SH3GL3 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SH3GL3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD, GBM, and HNSC are the cancer types where SH3GL3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
