Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SH3GL2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SH3GL2 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher SH3GL2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SH3GL2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD show a favorable association.
HNSC, ESCA, and LIHC are the cancer types where SH3GL2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
