Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SH3GL1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SH3GL1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher SH3GL1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SH3GL1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

CCRCC are the cancer types where SH3GL1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
