Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SH3BP5-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SH3BP5-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher SH3BP5-AS1 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SH3BP5-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and BLCA show a favorable association.

HNSC, BLCA, and ACC are the cancer types where SH3BP5-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
