Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SH3BP4 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SH3BP4 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 10 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher SH3BP4 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SH3BP4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and UCEC show a favorable association.
CCRCC, HNSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where SH3BP4 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
