Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SH2D4B RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SH2D4B data layer compared with 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher SH2D4B RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SH2D4B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CESC and UVM show a favorable association.

CESC, UVM, and ACC are the cancer types where SH2D4B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
