Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SH2D4A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SH2D4A data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher SH2D4A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SH2D4A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

HNSC, LIHC, and BLCA are the cancer types where SH2D4A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
