Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SH2D4A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SH2D4A data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher SH2D4A mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SH2D4A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and COAD show a favorable association.

PDAC, COAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where SH2D4A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
