Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SGTA mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SGTA data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher SGTA mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SGTA expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LSCC show a favorable association.

UCEC, LSCC, and LUAD are the cancer types where SGTA mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
