Across TCGA patient cohorts, SGSM1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 18,796 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SGSM1-associated proteins across cancer lineages are HECTD1, PPP1R9A_S840, and BRMS1L. Each is linked with SGSM1 in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SGSM1-to-partner and partner-to-SGSM1 results are reported.
