Across TCGA patient cohorts, SGMS2 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 17 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SGMS2-associated genes across cancer lineages are eIF4E, ACC1, and Heregulin. Each is linked with SGMS2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SGMS2-to-partner and partner-to-SGMS2 results are reported.
