Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SFXN4 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SFXN4 data layer compared with 7 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher SFXN4 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SFXN4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as MESO and KIRP show a favorable association.
UVM, LIHC, and CESC are the cancer types where SFXN4 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
