Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SFTPC Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SFTPC data layer compared with 18 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher SFTPC Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SFTPC expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
STAD and COAD are the cancer types where SFTPC Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
