Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SFTA3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SFTA3 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher SFTA3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SFTA3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM and SARC are the cancer types where SFTA3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
