Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SFMBT2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SFMBT2 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher SFMBT2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SFMBT2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and STAD show a favorable association.

OV, UCEC, and HNSC are the cancer types where SFMBT2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
