Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SFI1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SFI1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher SFI1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SFI1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BRCA, PRAD, and LGG are the cancer types where SFI1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
