Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SFI1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SFI1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher SFI1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SFI1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and UCEC show a favorable association.
LUAD, GBM, and UCEC are the cancer types where SFI1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
