Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SF3B2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SF3B2 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher SF3B2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SF3B2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and PDAC show a favorable association.

HNSC, COAD, and PDAC are the cancer types where SF3B2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
