Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SETMAR mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SETMAR data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher SETMAR mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SETMAR expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and LUAD show a favorable association.

UCEC, HNSC, and CCRCC are the cancer types where SETMAR mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
