Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SETDB2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SETDB2 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher SETDB2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SETDB2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC and GBM are the cancer types where SETDB2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
