Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SERPINB8 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SERPINB8 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher SERPINB8 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SERPINB8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC and UCEC show a favorable association.

COAD, CCRCC, and GBM are the cancer types where SERPINB8 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
